In the Spirit of St. Robert...

St Robert School

MARCH 2011

There’s Still Time!!  Please support St. Robert’s Annual Giving Campaign!

AGC envelopes were sent home on Monday, January 31st, explaining the purpose and value to our children and the school when you support AGC.  Your gift of prayer or financial support is of equal value to the purpose and success of AGC.

PLEASE RETURN YOUR COMPLETED ENVELOPE TO THE SCHOOL A.S.A.P.

Each St. Robert family who returns a completed AGC envelope will receive a free dress pass for each child.

Each class with a 95% “return” participation rate will celebrate in April with a special treat.

Thank you to all families in the St. Robert community for your hard work and dedication to the school and our children. If you have further questions, please email the ACG Chair, Karen Fenner .

A Monthly Newsletter for Our Families

Dear Parents,

Converting a school gymnasium into a hall nice enough to “host a wedding reception” is no

easy task, but thanks to Mirna Bonilla and her auction committee the feat was

accomplished!  Last Saturday evening’s Wine Tasting/Auction Gala was an absolutely fun

experience for all those who attended and a very rewarding experience for St. Robert

School.  The decorations were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the company

incredible!  Thanks again, Mirna and to all the members of the committee.

As spring arrives, so does our spring sports’ season.  Track, golf, girls’ flag football, and boys’ volleyball are now underway.  Many students are involved.  Please encourage your student/athletes to make their grades a number one priority this season.  We love the participation of the many students; but in order to stay eligible, students need to focus on their school work.

Speaking of Athletics!  Our P.E. teacher and Athletic Director, Mrs. Henderson will be having surgery next week to replace a worn out knee.  She had one of them replaced last summer, and when she returns after Easter she truly will be our “Bionic” teacher.  Please keep Colleen in your prayers this coming week!

Finally, to all of our families and friends who attended the Auction Gala, to all of you who raised your bid number, thank you so much!

In the Spirit of St. Robert,

Brian James
