Curriculum
St. Robert School is devoted to the academic, spiritual, emotional, and physical development of the students in our care. With a dedicated staff the students learn in an atmosphere that helps them feel valued, respected and confident.
The St. Robert School curriculum follows the Sacramento Diocesan standards, which meet or exceed the California State Standards. The curriculum includes instruction in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, computer science, physical education, and fine arts. As a Catholic school, religion is both an integral and integrated component of our curriculum.
Extracurricular Activities
The extracurricular activities offered at St. Robert allow students to develop other interests and skills as well as develop a higher sense of self-esteem, cooperation, and responsibility. These activities include an athletic program that offers participation in flag football, volleyball, basketball, golf, and track. Other activities include band, baton, choir, student council, yearbook, school newspaper, chess club and Spanish club.
Special Services and Programs
St. Robert School employs resource specialists who work with students in all grades, full time aides in the primary classrooms, a school counselor, and a school nurse. In addition, the school offers an “Excel Program” for select students in junior high, an “Accelerated Reader” program for students in grades two through eight, a hot lunch program, an extension program for before and after school.
